Abstract

This academic article we expect to address from the theory, the analysis, conceptualization and the interpretation the environmental sociology from a theoretical and practical perspective applied to environmental education. Two areas of knowledge important for the development of environmental thinking, which allows intervening in the approach of possible solutions and alternatives of conflicts and environmental problems present in the environment at now a day. Likewise, different epistemological, philosophical and ethical lines in order to interpret the behavior that the different consumer societies currently have and thus cause alterations in ecosystems, ending with the present biodiversity in these spaces in order to satisfy the human needs to the advantage of this development that has proposed the modernity.
