Abstract

In the article, the author makes an approximation to the most recent, current scenario and immediate perspectives of the right of social security in Cuba. Starting the analysis with a brief reference to the immediate legislative background of that discipline in the country, as well as, to contextualize, it shows the changes that have taken place in the constitutional, economic and labor levels. Its impact in labor legislation, as also some lessons learned after the process of confrontation with COVID 19, in order present challenges and perspectives on this subject in Cuba.
