Abstract

In this article we will delve into and will analyze the history of anarchism in Latin America, through the contributions of Daniel Barret (Rafael Spósito Balzarini), college professor and renowned Uruguayan anarchist activist, of the Argentine philosopher and university professor Angel J. Cappelletti and of the Venezuelan Nelson Enrique Méndez Pacheco. We will emphasize on its different stages in order to draw a geographic map which allows us to understand the regional diffusion of this political mindset. The three writings to be analyzed are from 1990 (Cappelletti), 2007 (Barret) and 2012 (Pacheco) and they itemize both the situation of the anarchist mindset in the region, as well as the origins of it, from the nineteenth century.
