The COVID-19 and the prison population in Mexico

The present reflection has the objective to offer a general panorama about the situation that the prison population keeps, facing the COVID-19 in the Mexican case. Therefore, first reflects on the impact of the COVID-19, as well as on the sectors with major vulnerability. At once the prison situation is discussed, highlighting the problems of infrastructure and human rights. In the third place, the relation appears between COVID-19 and penalties. Later some answers are clarified (Law of Amnesty and preliberations), join together to problems that the prison population suffers and it has been irritated recently (symbolic garbage).
