Abstract

Independent candidacies in Latin America have begun to take hold in the face of loss of confidence in political parties. However, still go in deep, inequality in electoral competition, causing no citizen representativeness. It prevents the strengthening of this public figure. Among the elements that have an impact is the public and private financing that is granted to them. In this trial, Mexico is taken as a particular case.
