Education and university from Ignacio Ellacuría with his colleagues from the UCA

With regard to the curricular relevance of academic studies and teacher training, this work presents a proposal for quality education that is humanizing, ethical, social, critical, liberating, and holistic; a pedagogy and a university at the service of human, democratic, ecological, and global development in the pursuit of good living, as conveyed to us by Latin American thought and, as prominent representatives, attested to by Ignacio Ellacuría, Ignacio Martín-Baró, and their fellow Jesuit martyrs from UCA.
