The objective of this article is to prove if the Sexual Harrassment Perception Scale (Escala de Percepción de Acoso Sexual, EPAS, given its Spanish acronym) has the adequate psychometric properties of validity and reliability. This is an instrumental study with a transversal design. The sample included 215 Salvadorean women; the median age of those sampled was of 26.51 years and the standard deviation was 7.55. The findings revealed that the scale does have adequate validity indexes. The Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) proved the existence of a threedimensional model, and the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) provided evidence that the scale also has adequate adjustment indexes. In like manner, the scale has adequate reliability indexes. It has been concluded that the instrument has adequate psychometric properties in its validity and reliability and can therefore be used in studies addressing the topic in question within the Salvadorean context.
