This study intends to analyze the psychometric properties of the Cognitive Systemic Inventory for the study of academic stress (SISCO SV) in Salvadorean university students. This is an instrumental study, with a retrospective and transversal design. A nonprobabilistic, intentional sampling was used, and it evaluated 368 university students from both genders. The median of their age was 25.67 years old, with a standard deviation (SD) of 7.21. The median in women was 25.29 years of age, with a SD of 7.31, and the median age for men was 26.61, with a SD of 6.89. The findings serve as evidence that the SISCO SV Inventory has adequate psychometric validity properties and reliability to be used within the Salvadorean university context.
