The main goal of this review was to make visible which are the instances that can be resorted to, in the educational system, when facing those cases in which children rights have been violated, thus presenting a differentiating approach between the doctrine of the irregular situation and that of the comprehensive protection of children Amongst the institutions that have been described, there can be included the teaching profession board, the SISTEMA DE VIOLENCIA EN EDUCACIÓN (VIOLENCE SYSTEM IN EDUCATION, SALVE, given its Spanish acronym), the Local Committees for Rights, the Protection Boards, the Associations for the Promotion and Assistance to the Rights for Children and Adolescents that belong to the Policía Nacional Civil (National Civilian Police, PNC, given its Spanish acronym. This allows to facilitate clear pathways towards the activation of the National System for the Protection of Children and Adolescents (Sistema Nacional de Protección de la Niñez y Adolescencia, SNPINA, given its Spanish acronym), from the realities faced at schools.
