Abstract

Inclusive education implies a radical transformation in the current educational paradigms; it implies moving from an approach based on homogeneity to a vision of a common education based on heterogeneity. In that sense, the core objective of this investigation is that of exploring the characteristics of inclusive education in gender relations and economy in El Salvador. Documentary sources were researched and used in the construction of the historical and theoretical frameworks. The method used for data analysis was the qualitative method; guided interviews were conducted with the school teachers and principals of those public schools that have implemented the Fulltime Inclusive Education program.
