Abstract

Several projects have promoted the installation of rain water harvesting systems in El Salvador, but after the implementation, none of them have passed a proper socioeconomic impact assessment. The aim of this study is to apply a qualitative approach to make a preliminary socioeconomic impact assessment and promote the collection of proper quantitative data on future projects. Therefore, to promote the proper socioeconomic impact evaluation, on future projects of rain water harvesting systems implementation in El Salvador.
