The repercussions of moral education on the construction of the cities of the future

The citizens of the modern world have a level of dissatisfaction and disharmony between expectations and achievements, frustrations, institutional rejection, low self-esteem and generating social anomie. Therefore, the Moral Education is presented as an educational emergency plan in a society in which major issues and principles governing relations among men, women and peoples, and their relations with their environment require reorientations of the ethical behavior and moral rather than technical solutions. In this article, using the hermeneutic method, the theoretical foundations that support the need for Moral Education in building a new society are presented, and concrete actions needing in the education system to develop of the moral, social, projective and transformative dimensions of future citizens.
