Abstract

In the last years of this new century, we have been listening more frequently about the term cluster, being this last a competitive advantage gained through the location, that will allow communities and regions reach higher levels of economic growth and development. To carry out the research data we consider people of both genders, determining it through purposive sampler, the instruments we used were: directed interview guide, observation guide and questionnaires, it required information to identify the business mapping, networks, associations and visually documenting aspects related to tourism. As a result of processing data information, we identified four tourism sources on Nahuizalco ́s municipality: cultural, arquitectonic, natural and handcraft. The companies that work in the cluster should cooperate to improve competitiveness, economy and development of Nahuizalco’s municipality. This research was made with the cooperation of Fusades, this organization leads in the development of competitiveness and entrepreneurship studies in the region. It is framed in the form of research-action, proposing a model of tourism cluster.
