Abstract

One of the structural problems of our societies is that, in the same way that there is a great inequality in income (Gini coefficient), there has also been a significant inequality in the levels of education.
The fact of having been for many decades’ mono exporting agrarian economies has generated an inculpable deficit of education in the peasant classes.
It is enough to see that the "machete" has been and continues to be largely the typical tool of the rural sector, that is, it is a primary and primitive mode of production, which has not required a higher level of school education to perform these tasks, except for physical dexterity.
The civilization of the plow has not been entered into, from the technical point of view, and neither have the peasants had the opportunity to manage large farms and thus acquire an administrative education.
Education levels require a certain level of income that makes it possible; therefore, the level of education is closely related to the unequal level of income.
