Abstract

The world is just beginning to emerge from the worst economic crisis of the last 80 years, but it is still like a sick convalescent, recovering from a serious health breakdown, but still not strong enough to guarantee that it does not may suffer a relapse. At the international level there is even talk of the possibility of a "double dip", that is, a relapse of the world economy, caused by the instability of international financial markets, mainly due to fiscal threats in the euro area, and the slowness with which the global economic recovery has proceeded.
