In this article the current problematic about the principles and values that the ethic of having and the centrism market have inculcated to individuals within the social fabric of our world in general, but of El Salvador in particular, is presented.
Is it feasible to produce leaders capable of exercising solidary leadership and proving in public affairs before the deification of the market? What is the possibility that the Universities can train professionals that act in service of society and the common good with such an unfavorable environment? What can Universities do and should do to raise the ethical level of teachers, students and the rest of their human resources?
