Abstract

In El Salvador, there are many problems to overcome in education, even when efforts have been made to improve the education system, it continues to throw indicators that visualize substantive problems in terms of quality, this is demonstrated by the Test of Skills and Apprenticeships of Secondary Education (PAES) have not been achieved grades that reflect that quality in the majority of students, according to sources of the Ministry of Education (MINED). It can be seen in the performance of high school students in the PAES test, which has not been significant in the advance. In 2008, the overall score was 6.17, according to MINED data.
