Abstract

The research tries to investigate, modestly, the life prospects of the female working population of the maquila sector in El Salvador, starting from the working conditions offered by the productive sector to which they belong and taking into account the little that has been written about.
The study has two analyzes, the first at the act level, in which four components of the maquila are described and analyzed; and in the second, from a micro perspective, which details and studies what happens to this population group in their daily life from six aspects.
