Democracy, Civil war - El SalvadorAbstract
Research on democracy is a very big challenge given the many definitions and controversies on the subject, regardless of the theory with which the researcher works. It is expected that people, groups and political parties do not agree with the opinions and results obtained in this analysis. The main objective of the research is the realization of an exercise of contrast between what the theory on democracy says and what is done in concrete historical practice.
The analysis begins with the signing of the Peace Accords in 1992, an event that begins a new historical stage in the country, whose main purpose was the redemocratization of State institutions and of society as a whole, to correct the causes that gave rise to the civil war in the 1980s.
