Prevalence of symptoms of mental disorders in the population of El Salvador

The study arises with the intention of describing and explaining some behaviors considered abnormal, which are evidenced daily in Salvadorans and that in many cases are the result or causes of major conflicts, such as: the criminal crisis, family violence, economic crisis and personality problems.
In the latter can be mentioned: depression, anxiety and neurosis, among others. Some of the objectives stated at the beginning of the study were: Identify the incidence of symptoms of mental disorders and establish the difference of symptoms in relation to the sex of the population.
