Abstract

The free trade agreements are the rules of the game that indicate how trade will be regulated, which, by the way, are not so free, because they are regulations that bring losers and winners.
The interest of a country should be that there are more winners than losers. The problems of the advantages and disadvantages of the treaty have to do with the quality of that treaty.
Up to now, we have been able to analyze that in the agricultural sector there will be important loser sectors, especially in the agro-food sector, which are basically the peasant sectors.
Possibly cheese producers for export benefit. The balance is complex, as we have analyzed FUNDE and as it has been negotiated, it will generate enough losers in that sector. Therefore, under these conditions, it should not be ratified.
