Abstract

Tangible interaction enables the study of products or user interfaces which have the ability to facilitate better interaction between physical objects and digital information in real time, in a given implementation context, eliminating the distinction between input and output devices.
Therefore, it is known as a form of human-computer interaction where the digital world integrates with the physical world to generate a more intuitive and interactive communication with the user, which has permeated the different areas of knowledge such as education, entertainment, programming, communication, artistic expression and the business environment in order to have better experiences at user level from collaborative work.
The project took on the challenge of researching on the theoretical basis of existing tangible interaction design models and areas of application, where common activities were framed into the life cycle stages of a software system and the stages of the UCD models.
As a result, a proposal was created for a model for the development and evaluation of usability in systems of tangible interaction from the perspective of the user centered design, which suggests how to build a product besides the orchestration of IT? components in five stages (planning, analysis, design, construction and testing) interactively and incrementally focused on the user.
In each stage, a series of activities have been proposed, which are easy to articulate in the development process.
