Abstract

Citizen security also includes the prevention and punishment of violence against women that occurs in any field.
The violence that women face every day affects not only the women who face them, but all of them; since we are politically close imprimiendo fear of moving at certain times, visiting certain places, fear of taking the floor, defend our rights and actively participate as citizens.
Therefore, the action of solidarity and defense of women against violence is an eminently political action. The continuous struggles of women and the feminist movement have ensured that, at a global and local level, State entities understand the magnitude of the problem and commit themselves to eradicating customs and traditions in which the power of male oppression, base and origin of social and state tolerance of the exercise of violence against women.
