Abstract

The global reaction to the terrorist attack at the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon building in Washington did not wait for the first moments of stupor and amazement.
The confirmation that the tragedy was the work of international terrorism supported by Arab terrorist groups, encouraged and financed by Osama Bin Laden, and the fact that the territory of the United States was the object of an intentional and planned terrorist action, put the world in the air.
The magnitude of the damage, as great as bringing down the two Towers that housed one of the largest financial centers in the world, in the very heart of Manhattan, was difficult to measure.
