In reviewing the current literature on the history of the indigenous people of El Salvador, it cannot be stated emphatically that there is nothing written about them. Yes, there is, but if we compare it with what is written in other countries, it is observed that the distance is abysmal.
It is an urgent task to worry and get down to work, it is necessary to investigate the national history, in all the themes, but especially in regard to social movements and their actors, enrich what is already written, fill out the in short, there are, in short, to explore new paths.
It is pertinent to start a real joint effort to write about specific issues that have not yet been explored and especially about the indigenous, where one of the characteristics of the new works is the multidisciplinary.
