Abstract

Traditionally it is recognized that the level of employment of the population is an important indicator of the welfare of a society.
Employment is an economic and social category of great importance in complex modern economies, largely a dynamic factor of growth.
Economists in their theoretical developments have been concerned to explain the causes that determine the level of employment of an economy and the underlying motivations in the behavior of supply and demand of work, distinguishing some forms of involuntary, frictional or structural unemployment.
