Abstract

The following article, shows a growth in the use of photovoltaic solar energy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras with respect to the generation of electricity in the city of Tegucigalpa between 2012 and May 2019. Through the collection of information obtained from the installer companies of photovoltaic projects and commercial facilities that have said projects installed, making use of dead spaces on the roofs of their buildings for the incorporation of photovoltaic panels. Finally, analyzing a series of graphs that include installed power, number of projects, evolution of the installed kW price, as a clear example of the operation of these plants in the generation of electric power.
