In the last two decades, it has been discovered a duality of purely quantum nature that relates to certain theories of gravity with gauge theories, the so-called double copy or Bern-Carrasco-Johansson (BCJ) duality. However, it has recently been possible to implement the double copy insights to purely classic solutions. In this article, the classical double copy is applied to calculate the energy-momentum tensor for the Schwarzschild black hole metric and the Reissner-Nordström black hole metric in a novel and efficient way.
