A Historical Review of the Physics Department of UNAH

Abstract

The following article describes the history of the field of Physics in Honduras and it’s development within it’s primary institution, National Autonomous University of Honduras. Several reports written in the decades of 1960-1970 by the University Center of General Studies of UNAH, are used as reference. Although, a lengthy share of the information, specially about the decades of the 80’s and 90’s, is directly written by the author.
