Abstract

On the following paper is shown the development of (Biomass) in terms of Energy Generation in Honduras. Utilizing a compilation of data from the Empresa Nacional de Energía Eléctrica (ENEE) through the years 2007 to 2017, it covers Energy Production, Installed Capacity, Energetic Contribution, Geographic Distribution of the power generators and which proyects are working that will define the actual status of the sector. Finally we will analyze one of the Biomass power generating companies that is participating as a co generator of Energy in Honduras.
