The purpose of this article is to show the multiple benefits of using computer programs and simulators during lecture and lab for the analysis and treatment of problems as a teaching strategy. As an example of the benefit of computer program in the classes room, the results of the comparison of the value of the gravitational acceleration from the data analysis with Tracker are presented; those results are compared to the value of the gravitational acceleration obtained during the development of traditional teaching experiments such as the simple pendulum. In addition some Tracker applications for the analysis and measurements of physical magnitudes studied in classes and experimental activities are showen.
