Assessment of learning in the training of university students

One of the problems that higher education has faced in the course of the training processes is evaluation and how to convert this process into a learning contribution for higher education students. This paper is a critical analysis of a fundamental axiom for improving the quality of post-secondary education. The modality for the elaboration of this research work is part of the bibliographic and field research, the level is of the exploitative, descriptive, correlational type. The methods applied are scientific, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, descriptive, statistical. The results suggest improving the learning evaluation processes of the teachers of the ULEAM, Bahía de Caráquez extension, in the professional training of third level students. This research shows that the evaluation of learning is based not only on the ability to know a content (teaching), but also that other factors intervene, such as learning and in the midst of this, the tasks as an axiom of training and development of the capacities of the students. sayers.
