Law is a purely social element that human beings created from the very moment they organized themselves into communities or societies, that is to say, it dates back to ancient times. The relevance of its study is highly important, so it is not enough just to read simple and plain laws and rules that regulate human conduct, but its study must be more intimate and concrete to achieve sufficient knowledge about the broad field of competence of law. In this work the author divides in an orderly and systematized way the necessary elements to reach a general understanding of Law starting from historical background, conceptions, functions, functions, purposes, structure, currents, doctrine and hierarchy of the norm, so that the understanding of this science must be studied in detail and in a very understandable language as the writer of this work has done.
