Proposals to Promote a Gender Perspective in the Faculties of Agricultural Sciences and Construction at the Central University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas

Abstract

This paper is the result of a research made at the Schools of Agricultural Sciences and Constructions at Universidad “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas, in Santa Clara, Cuba, with the aim of promoting the gender approach in a context characterized by masculinization of the aforementioned. From this research, it was concluded that there are subjective-type factors and other institutional that interfere with the enrolment, permanence and work position of women in the technological fields.
