The low educational level of informal sector workers constitutes a barrier that hinders their personal development, as well as their capacity for sustainability and growth, due to a lack of strategic thinking. The main objective of this research is to identify the limitations that have historically prevented them from thinking long-term and considering their work as a dignified source of income. It is utopian to speak of reducing the number of informal workers in Guatemala in the short and medium term; therefore, this research emerges as a palliative proposal to address the extreme difficulties faced daily by the majority of informal workers in the country.
