Abstract

Abstract. The holotype of Epidendrum × doroteae has been rediscovered in the EAP Herbarium and L. Sánchez S. and E. Hágsater’s neotype, Honduras, col. 1959 by Paul H. Allen, mounted 17 October 1975, Fritz Hamer A5, SEL 44075, is superseded, and conservation of the original orthography of the epithet doroteae is advocated, based on the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature (Vienna Code).
