Satisfaction in patients treated by UEES graduated dentist in private sector

Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the level of satisfaction in patients treated by UEES graduate dentists, in private sector clinics, located in Colonia Escalón, San Benito and El Carmen. Quantitative, descriptive and transversal approach. Sample of 321 patients in ten private dental clinics.  A non-probabilistic quota sampling was applied.  The survey with Servqual scale was the Technique used for the collection of information. Of the quality dimensions, the tangibility represented the lowest percentage of satisfaction with 90 % as unsatisfactory, modernlooking equipment and little publicity of some clinics. The security dimension presented the highest satisfaction rate for the patient with 97% compared to other dimensions. Security and empathy turned out to be the most important dimensions for patients. The clinics of the study registered an overall satisfaction of over 85% from the patient's perception, likewise all Dental Clinics of the study are widely recommended. Recommendations: it is suggested to all clinics of the study to improve the dimension of tangibility. To the UEES, through the Faculty of Dentistry and the graduate follow-up unit, it is suggested to make more studies to monitor the quality of the professional services of its graduates
