Abstract

The neuropsychiatric manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus (sle) include the neurological syndromes of the central nervous system (cns), peripheral and autonomic syndromes observed in patients with sle, once other causes have been ruled out. The association between myasthenia gravis and another autoimmune disease fluctuates between 5 and 30% of cases. We present the case of a 29-year-old woman, from whom, after multiple hospital admissions and a series of studies due to weakness, the relationship between myasthenia gravis and the systemic lupus erythematosus that she already had was demonstrated.
