Abstract

Whereas the disparity in the growth of some bean plants could be due to poor germination and ultimately affect the decrease in the number of plants and production; This research was carried out on germination tests in Vitro, with the purpose of determining whether Otero bean seeds (Pha.seolus vulgaris var. Fagiolo nano harvester sel harmony) when embedded in water increased their germination power. The treatments evaluated consisted of embedding bean seeds in water at different times. Treatments. They were TI = witness, T2 = 5 minutes, T3 = 10 mur. Mos, T4 = 15 minutes. The experiment was located in the laboratory. From Biology and Chemistry of the Evangelical University of El Salvador), a completely randomized experimental design was used. The results showed that the germination obtained was for T1 = 95%, T2 = 85%, T3 = 90% and T4 = 95%, no significant statistical differences were detected between these treatments.
