Main cultural philosophical currents in Latin America

In this work the most important cultural events are told before the 19th century; Foundation of universities, Inductions of printing and cultural ideas - more representative philosophical; the main philosophical - cultural currents in Latin America are described, among them, the reaction against Scholasticism, transit to modern philosophy and the characters of the philosophical awakening in Latin America: a Realism, a repudiation of authority and philosophy in the 19th century : Rationalism, Idealism and Positivism; Positivism and overcoming Positivism. Finally, it presents the main philosophical - cultural currents represented in Latin America today: Realism, the influence of Spanish philosophers and a current parameter of philosophy in Latin America to focus, under the perspective of teachers - students, a semblance of the licensed philosopher Matías Romero Coto , legitimate glory of the current Salvadoran thought, by means of the speech of presentation when being given the prize National Value 2000 "Roberto Armijo", by the Department of Chalatenango.
