Abstract

Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, the most universal Spanish writer, author of the adventures, adventures, misadventures and misadventures of the Knight of the Sad Figure, known worldwide for four hundred years as "The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quijote de La Mancha", was born in Alcalá de Henares, in deep Spain, on September 29, 1547, under the splendor of the Spanish imperial power with the discovery and conquest of the Americas and in full development of the Renaissance, whose humorous currents contributed substantially to revolutionize thought and European society, then still anesthetized by the lethargy of the Middle Ages.
