Abstract

This paper examines some of the publications in El Salvador about Alberto Masferrer between 1938 and 1970. These writings offer reflections and analyses on the writer, highlighting specific aspects of his life or works. These publications generally emphasized Masferrer’s social and cultural legacy. This article reviews various issues of the magazines Cypactly, Cultura, Síntesis, and Revista del Ministerio de Instrucción Pública. This demonstrates that, after his death, Masferrer’s writings continued to inspire writers and educators to highlight his themes and reflections on the country’s reality.
