The Ambassador of Argentina, Dr. Marcelo Valle Fonrouge, presents the essence of the dispute between Argentina and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland over sovereignty of Falkland Islands. The historical background, nature of conflict, point of view of international and regional organizations, behavior of Great Britain, sectors of global civil society. The Ambassador contemplates Argentina´s position in the face of dispossession of a part of its territory by Great Britain, and its disposition and struggle to recover it, through dialogue, negotiation and international law, as a peaceful method to tackle the disputes.
