Abstract

Art critic Anastasio Lovo describes the extraordinary photographic work of Celeste González in her work, “Rivas During Lent”. The subject is the community of Rivas and her people – their faith, traditions, and community spirit that live together in a ritual of culture and nature, united in the color purple, as the community celebrates the transcendence of the passion of Jesus of Nazareth.
