Abstract

The present research has the purpose of exploring and identifying the values and common principles in the world religions or majority religions at present. This search through the sacred texts leads us to determine that there are common values that can serve as a basis for an interreligious and intercultural dialogue that favors and contributes really to the creation of a new culture of peace. Likewise, the world religions can assume as a permanent task the action for peace starting from working in the prevention and the pacific solution of the conflicts as well as by the care and preservation of the nature.
