Abstract

Internet for instructional purposes is a research focused on the use given to Internet as a strategy and tool to support both teachers and students in the teaching-learning process. That is, Internet to generate learning by using  search engines, websites, virtual libraries, blogs, chat rooms and other resources that enhance the attainment of the course objectives. The research was carried out at the College of Art and Sciences at Universidad Don Bosco during the term 02-2007. It involved 24 fulltime and 3 partime professors from the five schools: Graphic Design, Communications, Theology, Education and Languages. The purpose of the study was to identify the use of Internet as both strategy and resource used by the professors to help reach the objectives of the course.
