Abstract

A practical way to understand how to compete is to imagine a Grand Prix of Cars, call F1, Grand Prix, in all form a great team or organization, each team will look for to assess their strengths and weaknesses compared to other models of cars , will do a planning where goals will be established, nobody automaker will look for a bad position in the race, all will look for the first places if not the first and the championship. They will be subject to the environment, to risks, to changes, to competition regulations in the race and to the experience and skills of the pilot, all support and planning team. They will measure their performance and compare with the best time in the rounds, the capacity of the resources will be evaluated and improvement projects will be made to redesign their components and parts of machine to give always the best, they use their performance records to stand out with their brands in the market and better promote their products. Certainly that is done the Models of Excellence and that is what they achieve with the organizations, they prepare and develop them to compete in aggressive environments, the global environment. The next article show the develope to Model of Excellence and how to achive focus on the competitiveness.
