Organizational strategies for human capital: a bibliometric analysis

Abstract

Human capital strategies are of great importance to establish action plans in the short and long term that in turn allow to guarantee organizational success. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to analyze human capital strategies in organizations through a bibliometric study. To carry out this analysis, the Scopus database and R software were used. The 194 articles analyzed cover a period from 1982 to 2020.

Additionally, these articles detail the key factors in terms of human capital in organizations, as well as clusters, the latter understood as the group of organizations in each region that refer to the strategies, procedures and functions that make up the workforce. , allowing them to be more competitive when developing their processes. The results show the importance of strategic planning, its economic and social effects, also on human talent, for the successful development of human capital strategies for organizations, as well as their contribution to strengthening organizational objectives. reaffirming that the staff constitutes the greatest source of value and wealth in the development of activities, as well as organizational processes.
