Abstract

The objective of this applied research was to develop an article that proposes a new classification or updated taxonomy of the models for centralized digital storage feasible for micro and small companies, where the technological solutions available in the market. The research answers the question What would be the updated taxonomy for viable centralized digital storage for micro and small businesses?

Given that in the technical documentation to implement digital storage services there are many acronyms and technical concepts, and in the last five years there have been important changes in the technologies associated with them, to identify the most effective technological solution for the company is more complex. For this reason, this research provides an epistemological and practical contribution so that financial, administrative or IT managers have a guide to choose the technological solution that effectively manages the digital storage of company information.
