Corruption in the nations of the Central American Integration System is a multifaceted issue that negatively impacts society, the economy, and governance. Its fight requires a comprehensive approach that prioritizes the enhancement of tools, the strengthening of institutional trust, and the implementation of clear and equitable economic policies. International collaboration and the exchange of best practices are essential for advancing towards greater transparency and reducing the propensity for corruption in the region.
